Zapier Integration
Zapier connects to thousands of apps — Google Sheets, Gmail, Jira, Salesforce, Trello, and many more. By connecting a Zapier MCP server to Revelry Ai, you can have the AI trigger automations across all of those apps from chat: send messages, create tasks, update spreadsheets, and more, in natural language.
Unlike most integrations, Zapier is bring-your-own MCP server: each user creates their own MCP server at mcp.zapier.com, chooses which apps and actions to expose, and connects it to Revelry Ai. Actions run under that user's own connected Zapier apps.
Prerequisites
- A Zapier account with the apps you want to use already connected in Zapier
- The Zapier integration enabled for your organization (it's behind a feature flag)
Step 1 — Create Your Zapier MCP Server
- Go to mcp.zapier.com and sign in with your Zapier account.
- Create a new MCP server.
- Choose which apps and actions to expose to the server — these are the things you'll let the AI do (e.g., "Google Sheets: Create Row", "Gmail: Send Email"). Only what you add here is available.
- Copy the server's URL and its secret (bearer token). You'll paste these into Revelry Ai next.
Each user manages their own server, so the AI can only use the apps and actions you have connected and exposed.
Step 2 — Connect It in Revelry Ai
- Open the Chat Tools menu (the + button next to the message input) and select Integrations, or go to the Integrations page under My Organization in your account menu.
- On the Personal tab, find Zapier and open it.
- Paste your Zapier Server URL and secret.
- Save. Revelry Ai validates the connection to your Zapier MCP server.
- Enable Zapier for a chat from the same Integrations panel.
Using Zapier in Chat
What you can do depends on the actions you exposed on your Zapier MCP server. For example:
- "Add this summary as a new row in my 'Leads' Google Sheet."
- "Create a Jira ticket from these action items."
- "Send this draft to my email."
The AI calls the appropriate actions through your Zapier MCP server. Because these are write actions to external apps, they go through the approval gate before running.
Managing the Connection
To update or disconnect Zapier, return to the Personal tab of the Integrations panel. To change which apps and actions are available, edit your server at mcp.zapier.com.
Availability
The Zapier integration is behind a feature flag and may need to be enabled for your organization. If you don't see Zapier in your available integrations, contact your organization admin or Revelry Ai support.
