Projects

In Revelry Ai, everything you do is within the context of a Project. Projects are fundamental units that organize your work and drive the types of content you'll generate within Revelry Ai.

What is a Project?

A Project in Revelry Ai can be thought of as a software development endeavor, product, or idea, usually defined with a goal. Whether you're building a new feature, updating a website, or continuously managing a product, a project encapsulates these efforts. Projects can have a start and finish like typical projects (e.g., "Build a WordPress marketing site for NOLA PD"), or they can be ongoing efforts like continuous product management (e.g., "Platform development").

Projects are helpful because they allow you to:

  1. Organize Work: Align tasks and artifacts with specific goals.
  2. Facilitate Collaboration: Ensure all organization members are on the same page.
  3. Track Progress: Monitor the development and success of specific initiatives.

Multiple Projects

You can have multiple projects running concurrently, each with entirely different contexts. This is common in agile organizations that handle various ongoing tasks. For instance, you might have one project for developing a mobile app and another for implementing a marketing campaign.

Switching Between Projects

In Revelry Ai, you can easily switch between different projects to view or modify their specific details. To switch projects:

  1. Open the Projects page: Click Projects in the left navigation to see every project you have access to, as a grid of cards. Cards show each project's chat and artifact counts and a "last active" time (hover for the exact date and time), and the grid orders projects by most recent activity, so your busiest projects come first.
  2. Select a Project: Click a project card to open it. The project you're in shows in the breadcrumb at the top of the page.

Project Settings via Chat

The AI can rename your project and edit its overview directly during a conversation using the project_update_name and project_update_overview MCP tools. Changes sync to the rest of the app in real time, so there's no need to leave chat.

Moving Content Between Projects

You can move a chat conversation — along with its sub-agent chats, connected artifacts, and attached documents — to a different project in one action. This is useful when work evolves and needs to be reorganized.

  • From chat — Use the move option to relocate the conversation and all connected content
  • From artifact edit — Use the project dropdown to move an artifact and its chat family
  • Automatic redirects — Old artifact URLs redirect to the new project location
