Release Notes — v1.4.1
September 17, 2026
This release adds personal API keys and a full Chat API v2, gives you control over how each Skill runs, lets you attach artifacts to a chat, and ships a simpler Skill Builder. It also brings a set of mobile improvements for reviewing data on a small screen.
New Features
Personal API Keys
Create your own API keys from Account Settings, scoped to you within an organization. Anything created through a key records which key made it, on artifacts, Skills, collections, and their versions. Organization admins can revoke any key.
You can build integrations against your own account, and see exactly what came from where.

Chat API v2
A full set of chat endpoints is now available: send a message, stream a response, read message history, list and open chats, and delete a chat. Streaming is supported so responses arrive as they are generated.
You can put Revelry Ai chat inside your own applications.

Control How Skills Run
Each Skill can be set to run inline in your conversation, in a separate session, or automatically decided based on the task. Skills are started from chat with a slash command, and you can attach documents to a Skill run.
Long research tasks stay out of your way, while quick edits stay in the conversation where you can see them.

Attach Artifacts to Chat
You can attach an artifact directly to a conversation, the same way you attach a document. Continuing work on something you already produced no longer means describing it again.

A Simpler Skill Builder
Data Elements are gone. What a Skill asks for is now just user inputs: the questions answered when the Skill runs. Attaching documents to a Skill works the same way it does in chat, where you upload a file or pick an existing one and it appears as a pill. User inputs show a description preview and are edited in place, and what used to be a two-step modal is now a single step.
One less concept to learn, and attaching a document works the same way everywhere in the platform.

Mobile Improvements
Tables now show the columns that matter on a small screen and open a detail sheet for the rest, with filter and sort controls and a badge showing active filters. The page header collapses into an overflow menu. Tabs scroll horizontally instead of wrapping.
Reviewing data from a job site or between meetings works properly.
Free Trial and In-App Upgrades
New organizations can start on a free trial and upgrade or switch plans from inside the app. Credit plans can now carry seat limits, shown on plan cards and the members page, and unbilled onboarding usage appears in the Credit Activity view.
Visual PDF Analysis
Long PDFs are now analyzed visually, split into page ranges that are processed in parallel, so large documents no longer stall a conversation.
