Release Notes — v1.1.4
April 9, 2026
New Features
Comprehensive Analytics Event Tracking
Revelry Ai now tracks 60+ user-level analytics events across the platform, giving organization admins better visibility into how the platform is being used. Events cover chat interactions, workflow executions, tool usage, document operations, integration activity, and admin operations.
This replaces the previous system-level telemetry with meaningful, user-context events — including tool execution lifecycle tracking so admins can see when tools start, complete, or fail.
Improved PDF Rendering
The platform's PDF export engine has been replaced with a faster, more reliable rendering system. PDF downloads for artifacts and reports now generate more quickly and produce cleaner output, eliminating occasional timeout issues that could occur with large or complex documents.
No user action required — PDF exports work the same way, just faster and more reliably.
Artifact Type Category Requirement
Artifact types now require a category when created from the prompt template flow. This ensures every artifact type is properly organized within the Category → Artifact Type → Artifact hierarchy from the moment it's created.
If no categories exist yet, you can create one inline during the artifact type creation process. This change prevents artifact types from being created without a category, which previously could make them invisible in the prompt builder selection list.
Improvements
Streamlined Subagent Architecture
Artifact creation and updates — including reports — are now powered by an improved subagent architecture with several user-visible enhancements:
- Live progress indicators — See real-time progress updates during artifact generation, including which tools are being called and the current generation status
- Crash recovery — If a subagent encounters an error, the system recovers gracefully instead of leaving operations in an incomplete state
- Automatic reconnection — If you navigate away and return during artifact generation, the UI reconnects to the in-progress operation
- Consolidated tools — Report and artifact creation now use unified tools, simplifying the generation process
Bug Fixes
- Improved subagent reliability during artifact creation and updates — prevented several edge cases that could cause generation to stall or produce incorrect results
- Fixed an issue where AI responses could trigger a double-finish error, causing tool executions to get stuck
- Fixed a crash when attaching multiple documents to a chat in quick succession
- Restored "View as Report" flyout for legacy artifacts with a loading indicator during report generation
- Fixed errors caused by loading oversized fields in collection document queries
- Fixed project switcher flickering when navigating between projects
- Fixed collections section remaining visible when "Add to Knowledge" was deselected during image upload
Security
- Supply chain protections — CI/CD pipelines now reference dependencies by commit hash instead of mutable version tags, reducing supply chain risk
- Credential audit logging — Improved audit trail for credential operations with better provider context and deduplication
