Google Sheets
You can import your Google Sheets to be used in Revelry Ai. This will enable Revelry Ai to generate Artifacts based on your data. Your data will be synced to Revelry Ai daily, reflecting changes that you make through Google Sheets.
Setup and Permissions
Permissions
The Google/AirByte OAuth connector requires significant permissions, including access to your Google Drive. If you or your organization are uncomfortable giving this level of access (even though it will just be used to access that particular Google Sheet), there are two options:
- Download the sheet as a CSV, and upload it the using direct Document Upload. This means that the information will not go through AirByte and no additional permissions will be given.
- Alternatively, you can share the document so that anyone with the link can access it. Then, go through the OAuth flow using a different Google account.
Setup
Make sure that the spreadsheet you want to sync is in the Google Sheets format. Google Sheets displays the format of the spreadsheet to the right of the file name in the top right corner when you view the Sheet (if it's in another format, like .XLSX). Otherwise, if you don't see anything else next to the name, you're good to go.
To transform the Sheet to the correct format, just hit File, and then, Save as Google Sheets.
Creating a connection
You can connect a Google Sheet as a Data Source via Knowledge > Sources > New Data Source.
Data Source Name
This is what your data source will be called in Revelry Ai.
Share Link
We need the sharing sheet ID in order to access your Google Sheet. To obtain this: you need to:
- Navigate to your Google Sheet
- Hit the arrow dropdown next to the "Share" button (if you don't see this, ensure you are viewing the sheet in full-screen)
- Hit the "Copy Link" button
Sheet Name
Once you have your Sheet Sharing URL in hand, you'll also need to input the name of the Sheet you wish to import. Revelry Ai currently only supports syncing up one sheet.
You can find this at the bottom left of your sheet. The default is "Sheet1".
